Edward Klatt, MD

Dr. Edward Klatt has been involved with health science education for over 47 years with his research interests being in medical education. He develops teaching materials, which are deployed in multiple active learning and team settings: problem-based learning, case-based learning, and team-based learning. His focus is on facilitating the advancement of medical education with information management and critical thinking through a team-based approach. 

His commitment to professional education and training have been vital to API’s commitment to pathology informatics education. He has been a vital supporter of the annual PI Summit by funding trainee travel grants to the meeting. API is grateful for Dr. Klatt’s continued dedication to API’s training and education efforts.
