Become a Member of API!
The Association for Pathology Informatics (API) is a scientific society that is dedicated to furthering the discipline of Pathology Informatics. Our membership represents a diverse range of interests in this field, and we have a strong tradition of nurturing trainee participation. Trainees (e.g. residents, fellows, students, and post-docs) may apply for Associate Membership. We also have special memberships for teaching institutions, commercial entities, and other organizations.

API Membership Levels (July 1 to June 30):
Individual Membership Levels |
Associate Membership |
$25 Students, residents, and fellows with an interest in pathology informatics and/or those actively enrolled in ACGME accredited pathology training programs. |
Technical Staff Membership |
$50 Non-physicians, laboratory, and IT staff working in active pathology practices. |
Individual Membership |
$115 Licensed pathologists/physicians and PhDs working in the field of pathology or informatics. |
Sustaining Membership |
$225 An API supporting member who contributes to furthering the mission of API by paying higher dues. |

Teaching Membership |
Teaching Institutional Membership is available to all ACGME accredited pathology training programs. Membership is inclusive of the Department Chair, Residency/Fellowship Program Director, Residency/Fellowship Program Coordinator, and all interested full time faculty, residents and fellows |
