API is excited to announce that its Journal of Pathology Informatics (JPI) is now housed with its new publisher, Elsevier. Since 2010, JPI has grown to become one of the premier journals featuring cutting edge research and information for the field of pathology informatics. As a result, we have launched a partnership with Elsevier, a company that is significantly more equipped to provide the professional support and sophisticated software necessary to improve the author and reviewer experience throughout our online publication process.

As of January 1, 2022, the published Open Access Fee for 2022 will be as follows for the following categories of Articles:

$1,400 for Articles that are full-length research papers or review articles;

$700 for Articles that are short communications or case reports

API members will still receive a discount - 50% in 2022 and 30% in subsequent years.
