PI Summit 2023 Meet and Greet- May 23, 2023

The PI Summit 2023 Meet and Greet was an exceptional opportunity for pathology and clinical informatics fellows to
connect and interact with peers and leaders in pathology informatics. Held on May 23^rd, 2023, this event served as a perfect platform for attendees to mingle, get to know each other, and form collaborative relationships. It also set the stage for the creation of the API young physicians section to foster the creation of a long overdue community. Hosted by Omar Z. Baba, MD (Henry Ford Health Pathology informatics Fellow) and Rand Abou Shaar, MD (UPMC Pathology informatics Fellow) and attended by more than 20 fellows, residents and early career informaticists, It was an enriching experience that brought together for the first time an audience of the sort. The activity was attended by senior experts in informatics and pathology, namely, J. Mark Tuthill, MD, Ulysses G. Balis, MD, Joe Sirintrapun and Bob McGonagle.
